umify available on the chrome web store (archived post)

I am proud to announce that my Google Chrome Extension, Umify, is now available for download in the Chrome Web Store!

What is Umify? To put it simply, Umify randomly adds “like,” “y’know,” and similar words to webpages when they load. It’s loads of fun and can have you laughing aloud when reading an ordinary Wikipedia article. Not a single person that I’ve shown Umify to hasn’t been laughing by the end.

Want to see an example? Here’s a passage from Shakespeare’s Hamlet:

To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them.

— William Shakespeare, Hamlet
